In 2020, Secret Sesh Festival is embarking on its second year in full-force to deliver a one-of-a-kind legal consumption and sales adult cannabis festival in California. Secret Sesh strives to produce a fully interactive festival, curating cannabis industry’s top brands and non-cannabis brands an opportunity to showcase their products to the cannabis community.
From humble beginnings in 2014, the growth of Secret Sesh shifted from SB 215 events at the Headroom Glass Gallery in the San Fernando Valley to numerous mansions and warehouses. Eventually finding a home for weekly events at a Downtown Los Angeles nightclub for the better portion of 4 years. In past years, thousands of attendees across California flocked to DTLA every Secret Sesh Sunday, almost religiously, as the notorious saying “On Sunday’s We Sesh” became the motto of the masses.
Many of today’s recreational cannabis companies had their start at a Secret Sesh event and proudly mention it. Week after week, the community would show itself up. Many brands and companies became family and called the Secret Sesh their home. What began as a handful of friends, grew from the pure necessity for a community gathering of like-minded individuals.
As regulations change, so must ensuring safety for patients and vendors. In 2019, Secret Sesh fully adapted to the new regulations of California’s Prop. 64 and transitioned to producing two 21+ adult licensed festivals in the City of Adelanto. The focus of Secret Sesh has always been for the community, with accessible information and availability of products, shoppers can interact directly with compliant companies.
With the support of the cannabis community, Secret Sesh Festival has grown to 8000+ attendees and 100+ sponsors/vendors. At Secret Sesh’s festivals you can expect a unique environment with activities including free carnival games, giant inflatable activities, paint and puff classes, scavenger hunts, cooking classes, educational panels, a Rynobus game truck, and even a health and wellness center. In addition to seshing with celebrities, artists and influencers, guests will have a chance to win prizes and giveaways throughout the day. Secret Sesh Festival ends with a spectacular 10 minute fireshow that will have all guests incredibly LIT.
